Diverse in background and experience, Emily and Teal are united by a curiosity about business and an interest in supporting entrepreneurs, which culminates in a shared passion for early-stage investing. Emily and Teal are based in Vancouver and are actively looking for investment opportunities in Western Canada.

Emily Davies

Emily has been an angel investor since 2020. Emily serves on the board of Cortico Health Technologies as an Independent Director. Emily Davies is President of Linde Equity and co- manager of the Linde Equity Fund. Emily is also a board member of Cause We Care Foundation and the Young Association for Corporate Growth BC and a member of the Vancouver Steering Committee for Women in Capital Markets. She is also an advisory board member of SFU’s Beedie Endowment Asset Management Fund. Emily previously worked in equity research and investment banking at RBC Capital Markets. Emily is a BC Business 30 Under 30 Award Winner and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business.

Teal Linde

Teal has been an angel investor since 2020. Teal Linde is Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Linde Equity. Inspired by his investment returns achieved in the 1990s, he founded Linde Equity in 2000 to provide independent research and advice for individual investors. Teal started publishing his research in the Linde Equity Report, a monthly newsletter of investment ideas for do-it-yourself investors. With his investment returns catching the attention of local media, he launched Linde Equity Investment Counsel in 2002 to service private clients. In 2016, he launched the Linde Equity Fund to enable more investors to participate in the investment ideas of Linde Equity. Prior to founding Linde Equity, Teal worked as an equity analyst at Vancouver-based Global Securities. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and appears regularly as a guest on BNN Bloomberg Market Call. Teal received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.
